Quakertown, Pennsylvania's Silence Is Survival originally emerged in 2019 as a post-hardcore and alternative outfit with a clear purpose: to channel raw emotion into hard-hitting, anthemic rock that connects with listeners on a visceral level. Quickly making their presence felt on the scene, it wasn't long before they'd built a reputation for bridging the intensity of the genre with a distinctly contemporary edge, and the rest, as they say, was history.
Building on the groundwork laid by post-hardcore and alternative icons from Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin to Evanescence and the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and beyond, Silence Is Survival craft a sound that blends the nostalgia of early-2000s rock with modern intensity — emotive lyrics and visceral instrumentation combining with soaring, anthemic hooks into a sonic identity that has earned them a diverse and growing fanbase over a series of releases and electric live gigs to date.
Now with a host of achievements under their belts, including debut single "Poison Letters" racking up over 100k streams in just 10 months and a high-energy reimagining of "Build Me Up Buttercup", Silence Is Survival's momentum is at an all-time high as they push into the next chapter. A series of new singles is currently in the works, each set to arrive alongside both a music video and lyric video, with an album to follow, all to be officially announced in due time.
